Our Everyday Espresso

Looking for coffee beans for espresso that are balanced rather than aggressively dark? Adults Only is roasted in Chicago as our everyday espresso blend. It makes a sweet, approachable straight shot and has enough body to work especially well in cappuccinos, lattes and other milk drinks.

Starting Espresso Recipe

• Dose: 17 g coffee
• Yield: 36–40 g espresso
• Time: 20–25 seconds

How We Like to Brew It

For drip or pour-over, start around a 1:16 coffee-to-water ratio and adjust from there to taste. For espresso, start with the recipe above and dial the grind finer or coarser as needed.
